My dealer contacted me yesterday to let me know he had the SRX in. So went in today to see and have to say I wasn’t blow away. It doesn’t seem quieter like the specs said and it feels less powerful even though they said airflow is up. The multi speed is nice for air cleaning and the tilt function is very handy for removing the bin. Gone is the suction relief on the handle and the lock switch, but finally brought back a cord release.

My biggest issue I saw was the bars on the bottom of the PN and the fact that they cut out a big section in the brush strips where they are which I thought would leave horrible lines of shame. I asked my dealer if I could take the PN home and try it to see if it would leave horrible lines. I’m shocked, they are hardly noticeable at all. Side note the new PN fits on my e2 black. It really seems to agitate the carpet but doesn’t seem to fluff it up like my e2 black nozzle does. The little wheels behind the brush are a joke and are squeaking already. I’ve also noticed some hair wrap whereas I never have it on the black.

. The air path seems kinda narrow almost like a PN2. It definitely did not stick to the carpet. They reconfigured the neck assembly and made it lean forward a bit more so it doesn’t feel like it’s going to tip over the way the black model does. All in all I’m impressed but not blown away like I thought I might be, I’ll only buy if my dealer gets me a good price.

Could you post some of the images from the owners manual please. Also do the stainless steel brush roll clean as good as the wooden one? Also does the blue lever in the back of the nozzle really help or is it useless?

I’d say the stainless cleans well but does not fluff up the rug as well as the wooden one. The lever in the back is to release the handle so it’s not useless

Brought the nozzle back, so no pics of the manual. Haven’t decided yet if I’m going to buy. The suction unit is barely quieter and feels less powerful at the end of the hose despite being higher CFM. IT also depends what kind of deal I can get, my dealer knows that I know my stuff and I’m not paying anywhere close to $2,000.
