Riccar Immaculate Canister (UNBOXING)

What a beautiful setup - I bet that cost a fair few dollars! Full handle remote, lovely colour, even has an electric mini turbo brush - and made in USA rather than China. I'd imagine that little lot came to about $1500, comparable to the Miele TOL model Uniq?

I wish we had these kind of machines in the UK :-(

Is the power nozzle noisy? Some people have said it's a bit of a screamer. Would love to hear a comparison with the deluxe Miele power nozzle, or with the Sebo or Aerus or Panasonic or Hoover deluxe power nozzles... maybe on Youtube?

Hi George,

Congrats on the new machine. You made a very wise choice. I had an S36 which is the same unit as the Moxie several years back when they were bright silver. They have since added the steel brush roller, quieted the P/N, fixed the electronics in the hose and added some nice floor brushes when they brought the manufacture here to the USA from Daewoo. The is the most powerful household canister vacuum (along with the Lux Platinum) made if it still has the same motor as mine did. In the long run you will have not only clean carpets but a machine that is economical to maintain and creates jobs for folks out in MO.

Congratulations!!

Wow George what a beautiful machine! I know you will be very pleased with your
new TOL Riccar. You just can't go wrong with a Tacony product, I've had a Simplicity
S24L for at least six years now and love it. My S24, same as Riccar 1500 series, has
the first generation full sized power nozzle with wood brushroll and it preforms very well on all carpets so yours with the triple brush metal roller should really deep clean great. My S24 has had many hours of use, I clean houses with it, and never one problem. George if you get time will you take a picture of the underside of the floor nozzles please? Congratulations again!
Thank You, Russ
