hi, going back to dyson powernozzles the DC05 motorhead had one and so did the DC23 motorhead which used a similar head to the DC18.
also our filterqueens have PN's!!!

G E Powerhead...

That is the one Filter Queen bought the rights too, also they bought the G E cordwinder.

ok here is a stab in the dark, everyone knows the filter queen pn came out in 1978 and was on the salmon colored 31 right?? Well I remember one time while talking with Mike Rodgers (I believe) from the Henry company and fellow vccc member and he said that Canada had one in 1968 for their filter queen and I looked a bit different. I saw a picture of it but can't remember what it looked like. If it wasn't Mike then I don't know who it was but can anyone shed some light on this?

My mom purchased a FQ in 1972 with the optional power nozzle, wand and electric hose. The power nozzle and hose were salmon coloured however the vacuum, tools and non-electric hose were brown. I always found it odd that they were 2 different colours.

early FQ nozzle

Yes,there was an early style somewhat similar to the ABC in no 42 but more similar to the Sears in no 13,but different from both.It was usual FQ colors with flat square center section with a FQ decal that was fragile over time.Does anyone know if this was European?Maybe Vorwerk?

2 different colors

As with Rainbow and earlier Luxes the power nozzle on Filter Queens was packed in a separate box.A dealer must have been using up overstock of previous nozzles to go with new shipment of vacs.
