I notice every now and then someone here will recommend OfferUp to get vacuums from and that a lot of the listings can have vacuums shipped. I decided to check it out and I seen a lot of vacuums for sale with just shipping charges of $3 or $7 or $10. Are these charges actually accurate or is there some other kind of catch here?

Here's an example of what I mean: https://offerup.com/item/detail/651193863/

I mean $5 to go from FL to IN? On eBay that's like $40 at the lowest.

I've never used OfferUp, so I cannot speak definitively on the question, but it would seem the seller would be losing money on that deal. Best to contact them directly and verify the accuracy of the shipping charge.

Yes, they're accurate

Yes, the prices are the prices you pay, the catch is that you can't pay with PayPal, prepaid debit cards, or anything else other than a credit or bank card.

Aaah, alright. I guess that tends to make sure the buyer pool is legitimate and trustworthy. Well no problem still. I do have a debit card. That's cool though that they did that with the shipping, since shipping on eBay is so expensive now, maybe this might be an alternative.
