Question about Eurekas and rarity

I know that I mostly ask for support from the community, but that's because I'm trying to expand my knowledge about vacuum cleaners! My question for today is: does anybody know about the rarity of the Eureka ESP 2068 AY? I haven't seen it anywhere online except for an old Eureka ad and a newspaper ad (kudos to Paul for finding that one). Also if you owns this model, then feel free to let me know!

Updates on my collection: I have gotten an Oreck U4120H2BPD, a Eureka The Boss Power Plus, a Kirby Heritage that I may not keep, and a Hoover Encore Supreme. I'm working on trying to get a Wild Moss Eureka as well. One of my current favorites is the Eureka 1447 upright. It has the blender motor, which I like. It also has a plastic handle. And I am obsessed with that coral color. So that's also a vacuum that I'd like to own.

Paul has done a excellent job documenting all their models, and if I remember right Hoover300 was too, or I might be confusing him with another person. I myself have a few Eurekas that do not exist in any other collector's collections either on YouTube or Vacuumland itself going back to 2006 posts.

I doubt a lot of collections have the Excalibur Mega or the Sanitaire SP6951 and SP6952 in them along with the S6982 and S6984 flavors of the Home Cleaning System. The Swedish made Eureka canisters don't seem to get collected often.

Go ahead and ask away - no one is keeping tabs, and if you stick around long enough you'll be answering others' questions from your acquired knowledge and adding new information. Good to have you here. You have a nice assortment of brands and models in your collection.

It appears that the model 2068 is pretty rare, indeed, due to its lack of online presence in any form and limited newspaper ads. It may have been a promotional model. Huskyvacs nailed it when he mentioned that Eureka had many models and model-types (variations).

I would like to see your photos of it and your other vacs, including the ratings plates.

By the way, there are two versions of the 1447: one made in white and orange with the "classic" metal hood style in the late 1970s and yours that was made a decade later. According to a parts list, the color name of the hood is Salmon. Two other models of which I am aware have what appears to be the same hood color: the 1903 HP (various types) and the 630-F (earlier types have "classic" tan hoods).
