I made pizza for lunch today -- whole-wheat crust, fresh home-made tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, fresh oregano, mushrooms, white onions and green bell peppers.
Making the sauce is no big deal, but making the crust is. I've tried to make a pizza crust from scratch a few times and it's just never come out right.
I've found the next-best thing, though -- ready-to-bake pizza dough from Trader Joe's. It's a little tricky to work with, but it's far less difficult than making a crust from scratch, and it's really good. And consistent. And it only costs $1.29 -- "such a deal!"
