Hi Rugsucker:

The built-in machines date back to the late 1800's. All the 'fashionable' homes had them. In my files I have a few instruction books of these industrial machines and the homes they were installed in. Later today I'll find this info and post it, these were a great addition to a fancy home of the early 1900's.

I must say,

I've seen the 'almost finished' product. It is so well-written. It puts 'vacuum collectors' in a good light. I appreciate all of this. I hope all of you like the finished article. WEll, some may not, but that's to be expected.

I remember reading

that the Goodyear mansion in Akron had a C/V system as early as 1910-ish.
