Well, I have finally gotten around to the 512 I picked up some time ago. New brushes, repacked the bearings, new emtor felt installed, cleaned and polished with mothers. Bag was cleaned as well. This is all original from what I can tell, gray trim, gray emtor tray, original cord which is in great shape! It is time for this to go to a new home, and I know original parts for these are hard to come by. This runs very nice, but perhaps someone would want the parts off it.
The known issues are a missign screw in the top of the light cover plate, the brush roll may need to be oiled or replaced as it has some minor noise and the screws which hold it down I cannot seem to figure out how to reinstall the brushroll. Also, on the bottom axle one of the screws and small flap of metal that go over the axle are missing. The hole would need to be drilled out and a new screw installed. Everything else good to go. Original black wheels as well.
I would like to find a home for it on the forum here. Done with Ebay, too much bull on there which I will talk about in another post, besides, someone here would appriciate it much more!
