VacuumLand – Vintage & Modern Vacuum Enthusiasts

Help Support VacuumLand:

Thank you thank you!!! That makes sense. I kept looking at the wands and hose and couldn't see anything that would supply the electric supply. They look like wonderful machines, and they look like they were a lot of fun... Shocking aside.

What a nice time!

Sean once again proved to be a terrific host and made for a memorable time for us all.
It does all start with the people, as all were there just to enjoy each other's company and just have some fun.
I do enjoy the fact that the conversations start with vacuum-cleaners but do run the gamut which makes these meets all the more engaging.
And thanks Jay for hosting lunch!
I'm still tingling... I wonder why? It did take me two cans of Final-Net to get my hair back into place after vacuuming with that Lewyt. However I can now do tricks like lighting fluorescent tubes with my nose.

I concur that the mini-meet was a great time. Sean has really figured out how to put on a great mini-meet. They keep getting better and better every time. I especially enjoyed the trip to the vac shop, even though I didn't buy anything. The experience was fun just the same. And I must say I don't think I've ever shared s'mores at a vacuum gathering. Sean just really knows how to entertain, something I really do appreciate. Thanks to everyone that came and made the day a very enjoyable one.

Thank you gentlemen...

I appreciate all the kind comments from Kenny, Jay, Paul, and Chad. I'm glad that a love of vintage vacuums and other funky collectibles have brought these men and other friends into my life. If there are other collectors in the Texas/Oklahoma area who would like to come to mini-meets, please let me know. We don't have any entrance exams, credit checks, or skills test to be a part of the fun. There are always vacuums/bags/attachments and other goodies looking for new forever homes. Laughter is in excess and so it the food.

So very bummed I had to miss this mini-meet this year. Looks like fun was had by all. Knowing a few of the faces in the pictures and of course Sean well, I know I missed out on some great conversation, both about vacuums and umm ….. well you know!!
