Hi, my name's Brian. Vacuums were my first obsession as a kid, but I'm also into vintage computers.

I'm currently working through a lot of 18 Windsors I picked up and am trying to learn the history of Windsors and Sebos. The lot included a Versamatic, 2 Versamatic Pluses, a Flexamatic, and a bunch of XP12/15/18s, so it's been an instant Sebo/Windsor history collection.

If you have any notes on Sebo/Windsor history, if you're interested in an XP15, or if you need any spare parts for an XP15 please get in touch.

Miele and Sebo are the main top brands in Duetschland and direct competitors.
In the US they are expensive luxury brands. The average housekeeper opts for a Dyson or Shark these days, or cheaper Bissell crap. Maybe they like the novelty of getting a new vacuum every few years.

Welcome aboard, Sebo makes some of the best vacuums!

People are in shock if I tell them that I paid $800 for a vacuum, but they will buy the $300 Dyson or Shark every few years. Shark and Dyson are based upon planned obsolescence. The premium vacuum brands can often have a 30 year life span. I guess I prefer reliability over the looks or trends, and not just with vacuums.
