Once again I found an excellent vintage vacuum at my local Goodwill Outlet store. This time it was a Compact C9 in gold, to add to my every growing Compact/Tristar collection (C2, C5, C7, CXL, MG1). It is in amazing condition for a 35 year old example with very few paint chips. The badge is not broken but needs a little chrome paint touch up. The original exhaust cap needs a little minor touch up too. The cord, bumper, and handle are perfect after some clean up. The motor sounds perfect and strong. I vacuumed the cloth bag and replaced the motor filter and paper bag and the thing has very powerful suction! It was a great find!
