I agree! Both Shark and Dyson are doing this, they have both expanded far past badly designed vacuums. Both companies now sell: Fans, hairdryers, other hair devices, air purifiers, and who knows what will be next! I forgot to mention that Dyson is also an audio company too, with their new headphones. I guarantee people will buy the Dyson headphones over the Bose, because “my Dyson vacuum is the best.” A hairdresser told me that the Dyson hairdryer cannot compete with the cheaper professional hairdryers used in the salons. Perhaps Dyson will start producing small kitchen appliances as well!This thing strikes me as a "buy me because I am a Dyson" versus something with real merit. (ie Dyson is betting that their public image alone will sell this product, "hey its a Dyson so its gotta be the best!")
