David,

Do you need Kirby groom oil? My Kirby vacs and parts need to GO as time allows. I would like the more rare and older to find homes with collectors but my local scrap metal guy was here an hour ago asking for more aluminum vacs.
Great site! Great information!

Emtor?
Please explain how you came across a painted Emtor than nobody else has seen in real life other than artist rendering.

It released by kirby painted?
The kirby company providing info on pre G3 models is utterly impossible.
I'll go to your website again. To be blunt is it authentic because plastic mini emtors took over h2l1. Thanks in advance.

The Legend II was the last Kirby to include the Emtor, it was first released in black along side the black and maroon shampoo system ( Remo group) and later was released in the maroon you see in the picture alongside the all maroon shampoo system . It was produced for a very short period of time thus making it incredibly rare , I’m aware of other collectors having seen and one or two that also own them. The split second in Maroon was also released with the Legend II and is extremely rare and if you search for it I doubt you’ll find images of it . For reference please check my site to see the different shampoo systems and the different emtors. The legend II was a transitional model and was produced along side the G3 which makes it very unique.
I hope I was able to answer your questions
