And that miele C3 Complete is £600 they're not gonna sell many of those in the UK at that price specially as the Sebo is nearly half the price! What are Miele thinking?

I'll second that sebo_fan.

Everyone has opinions and views and real life experiences on what is the best at deep cleaning and I respect though, it's down to personal choice at the end of the day on what you feel is the best for you.

Very nice vacuum cleaner. I had one before my felix, but because my house is multi-story and full of corner and such, it was a bit of a lump to manoeuvre, although the performance and build quality was typically SEBO - incredible. Although I had a suction leak near the bag full indicator, it used to whistle badly, form new as well, but that would have been just my one I guess. Same power nozzle as the felix of course, meaning it is one of the best in the business.

What I also love about SEBO's and what makes them the best bagged vacuums in my opinion is the filtration quality and the bags being inexpensive. Also, the suction on this model comes from the top of the bag meaning it should loose very little suction as it fills, that's what I found with my one, although it was the 2,400 model, although the difference shouldn't be a great deal in terms of suction.

Glad you like it my friend !

Cheers for the comments guys :)

One thing I'm really noticing on this machine is the airbelt. I no longer have to watch where I'm pulling the machine.

Should the machine bump into furniture or walls ect ect it gently bounces off, and due to the soft foamy texture of the belt it does about as much damage as throwing a rolled up sock at a brick wall would.

Also 0 damage or scuffs to the machine as its kinda hard to scuff fabric. However should the airbelt ever start to look tatty its cover is a consumable part thats easily obtained from Sebo :)

One of my pet hates is scuffed furniture guards

The Airbelt is acutually damp cloth washable, so any minor scuffs can usually be wiped off (as I have found).

Bosch copied SEBO on the AirBelt idea with their AirBumper on their Free"e"/BSGL5 series, but only covers the side of the machine and it isn't as effective. Infact on mine, the plastic was inclined to get pretty badly scraped.

Need a light for your SEBO D4?

Here's an old archive thread link on here http://www.vacuumland.org/cgi-bin/TD/TD-VIEWTHREAD.cgi?16595 (or if it doesn't work, click the link.)

I experimented with a standard round torch and a SEBO K1 tool clip which clips onto the plastic-metal telescopic tube (since it was designed to clip to either K1 tube or K3 Premium tube same as the one supplied with the D4 Premium.) You can just make out the torch I added to the tube!
