Would you care to elaborate about your 'carpet inspector' (in a private message, so as to not hi-jack this thread).
We have some four legged feline carpet inspectors. They are always testing it with their claws.Perhaps that person is set on Riccar because it’s “American made” haha! My Riccar Spirit is almost the worst vacuum I own, I’m glad I didn’t pay what they sell for now. They gave up on my Spirit, it doesn’t even say where it was made!
As much as I like carpet, I hate the new style of carpeting. I bought a large rug ( after visiting 3 stores) that’s ultimately made by Mohawk, almost every vacuum has a major difficulty on the rug. My Healthcare pro does work well, if I raise the head rather high. The best solution for that rug is to use a canister with the power nozzle at a proper height and lower the suction.
I don’t think these newer carpets are made as well. Our carpets are 23 years old and still look rather good, after many dogs and cats being on them. We had a room of Mohawk carpet replaced after 7 years because it was matted. After a big ordeal, the carpet was replaced under warranty, and now the replacement looks like someone took a cheese grater to the carpet. Mohawk sent out a person that I’ve never heard of, the carpet inspector. I would say the carpet inspector is the strangest person I’ve met, he treated the area like a crime scene!
Doesn't matter how many toys and scratchers I buy them, they still prefer to sharpen their claws on our rugs and the cushy rubber mats in the kitchen.Plush carpet would be damaged quickly.
He put tape around the area, just as would be necessary for a crime scene! He had a magnifying glass and several tools for picking at the carpet. He then took several strand of the carpet with a pair of tweezers and placed them into a bag. He then wanted the vacuum that is used on the carpet. We brought him the Shark rocket that is used there, and he took several pictures. He also swabbed the vacuum with something and placed it into a bag. This was about a 2 hour ordeal, the guy was absolutely silent.Would you care to elaborate about your 'carpet inspector' (in a private message, so as to not hi-jack this thread).
We have one that likes to scratch the carpet, the other 4 like to inspect furniture. As you said, it doesn’t matter how many toys and scratchers. Luckily they stay upstairs where there isn’t much furniture they find appealing. I have a cheap chair in one of the bedrooms and an office chair that they like to put their claws in.We have some four legged feline carpet inspectors. They are always testing it with their claws.
I'd be looking for the hidden cameras to see if you were on a prank show! No way thats a real job!He put tape around the area, just as would be necessary for a crime scene! Seems like every company that tried tandem air had problems making it work. Tacony has tried harder than others though.I agree, love the idea, hate the product.
