I am glad to here you say that, Many people on this forum consider everything from China to be poor quality but seldom realize they simply build to the standards the American and European owned company ask them to.

I have seen really good quality come from China and really poor quality come from Germany.

Quality has nothing to do with were something in made but rather what price it is made too.

Any one who deals with sourcing from China will know your choices are endless,

I recently helped source a product from China for a friend, we had to choose what quality bearings we wanted, if we wanted quality copper we wanted for the winding, how much time they were to spend finishing the product it all comes down to price. You want cheap and nasty you can get it, you want a vacuum that looks and feels like a Mercedes with a hose you got it. You even get to choose quality control.

Some have not a clue it all comes down to you get what you pay for PERIOD just as you have said .

They need to get over the China is junk because China is going no where and manufactures will continue to use them until a cheaper country comes along .

I love all of my China vacuums they are of top quality .

Dan, thanks for bringing back memories of that Dirt Devil! I had one of those once, it was a great, quiet vacuum! I would love to find another one!

Hahahahaha, I can't imagine that Dyson doing anything better than drying towels!

Alex you are

So very welcome , I post these vacuums for people like you who really appreciate seeing many different brand vacuums and to bring back memories . I am an equal opportunity vacuum lover not just stuck on one brand I love them all ;)

The Dyson holds towels very well but that's how I choose to use my Dysons if they could only get through my thick Frieze' carpet I might actually vacuum with them .

Dan,I used to have frieze! I've since replaced it with low-pile plush carpeting, MUCH better, but the DC07 is still staying outside!

If my collection was a color, it would be the color RAINBOW! All different kinds of vacuums wind up here, and don't leave!

Alex It's an ultra

Stiff brush roll used in a Aerus Guardian I can't remember when it was an early model right after the 8000/9000 .They had to use a more powerful PN motor it was also used in the Lux 6000 upright both were short lived people were complaining it shredded carpet fibers . I loved it they really took off like self propelled .
Many members on this site have posted wanting one they are no longer available I bought this as a back up packed it away and forgot I had it .
