Yet another HOOVER

Here is my U4262-930 HOOVER soft&light triple filtration w/brushed edge cleaning Elite from June 1999 what great machines these were

I would love a soft bag version like this, I have the hardbag ones but the soft bag ones were not sold here.

Makes these Hoovers lighter and they go under furniture easier without the hard case .

I love these Hoovers as they were an awesome convertible replacement .

I took a day for me

To get caught up organizing my collection and to take a ton more pics

As I was in the garage sorting through my vacuums I hear the UPS truck rumble , I don't remember ordering anything . He carries a HOOVER box off the truck it's a brand new Floor mate then my phone rings it's my GREAT friend John Gregory owner of Sweeper Central Hoover vacuums , calling to see if I had received his latest gift .

I can't wait to try it out he was a bit upset that I was using a Shark Steam mop and said I deserved only the best to keep my floors clean . Thank you again John Gregory

That is awesome Dan, I have the first version still I got it from Dubai . Its 220v and works great. For some reason they dont sell them in SA which is odd considering that most homes here have a 80% hardfloor ( mostly tile ) ratio.

Eureka 2010 my very first eBay purchase in 1999 I paid $25.00 for it lady found it in her parents attic .All metal Blue in color .

My all time favorite upright dyson, I love them.  That was my second dyson I ever bought replacing my dc03 for my home.

Another HOOVER

Found in a 2 million dollar home I sold was sitting on top shelf in a climate controlled garage they don't even remember buying it they owned the home from the 50's and had central vac throughout house and garages . I just left it in the box after they gave it to me .

I just found a blue version of that machine, we called it the dustette here. I need to get a new handle for mine other wise its in great condition.

Made in China with the highest quality just as TTi puts out today .
The Dirt Devil Swivel Glide these were great machines .

I am glad to here you say that, Many people on this forum consider everything from China to be poor quality but seldom realize they simply build to the standards the American and European owned company ask them to. 


 


I have seen really good quality come from China and really poor quality come from Germany. 


 


Quality has nothing to do with were something in made but rather what price it is made too.


 


Any one who deals with sourcing from China will know your choices are endless, 


I recently helped source a product from China for a friend, we had to choose what quality bearings we wanted, if we wanted quality copper we wanted for the winding, how much time they were to spend finishing the product it all comes down to price. You want cheap and nasty you can get it, you want a vacuum that looks and feels like a Mercedes with a hose you got it. You even get to choose quality control.

Some have not a clue it all comes down to you get what you pay for PERIOD just as you have said .

They need to get over the China is junk because China is going no where and manufactures will continue to use them until a cheaper country comes along .

I love all of my China vacuums they are of top quality .

My moms "real" Electrolux

Discovery advantage III she had this I also gotta find her Discovery Advantage she's only had three since these came out in the 80's . Now she uses the red gray commercial with tools onboard she loves her Electrolux/Aerus vacuums like the rest of my family does .
