I got a brand-new Hoover 3500 Hoover Floor Washer in the box with manual. Here is the manual. If you want the original JPEGs, let me know and I will email them to you.
Thank you Fred. Those scans are plenty large for the Davy Reference Book of Vacuumage but do please email me the full rez originals please so I can re-arrange them to print up a proper booklet.
I will never turn down a Floorwasher found at a reasonable price as I have only one - the blue - with the brushbar. My one Yellow has a brushless nozzle and the other one had none so, Necessity being the Mother of all Inventors, I adapted a nameless floor tool nozzle from The Bin Of Orphans with a wrap-a-round brush to fit. Works great but it just not the real thing, ya know.
All that was needed was a short length of rubber hose to create a collar to rotate on the machine. That's where Player Piano hose stock comes in handy.
The business end duplicates the intention of the Floor Washer's brushplate. The inner channel rim is set back 1/8" above the brush. Sealed off the upper 'gleaner' slot.
Bit of dumb luck I had this and that's why one never passes up odds & ends in Thrift Store bins.
