Miele S227/S228i/S230i/S234i/S236i/S238i/S240i - Info wanted!

I was wondering whether anyone here could give me any information on the Miele S227, S228i, S230i, S234i, S236i, S238i and S240i series of vacuum cleaners. When they were introduced, length of production run(s), pages from catalogues and/or sales brochures, that sort of thing.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I have a few of them in my collection, I give you the link of a post of ages ago in which I loaded scans of a MIele Brochure from the mid 80s featuring the complete Miele range in Italy.

Incidentally, I believe I'm right in saying that there were other models in the series that don't appear in your brochure, such as the S234i and S236i. Do you have any information on those models? A brief history of the range would be much appreciated too.

Miele s234i and S236i

Hi,

I have the both models a white S234i and winered S236i. I think these are excactly the same models, S234i introduced about 1982 and S 236i about a year after that.

Beige-coloured Miele S234i

While searching online, I found some information on what appears to be a Swiss-spec version of the S234i. According to the site in question, the S234i was produced from 1981 to 1992 and had a power output of 950 watts (as opposed to the 1000 watts cited elsewhere). Also, the model pictured on the site is beige, not white. Could somebody please explain these peculiarities?
