Crazy,
Please see the pictures in reply 36. Scroll through them and find pics 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, & 11 with the light brown trim and smooth headlight trim. Let me know if you seek something particular or a particular condition.
Thanks!

Crazy, I can send you two crusty ones that will make up a nice complete one (less cord) for $10 plus shipping. There is one that has a usable but very faded bag that I have in mind. Email me your zip code and I can give you a shipping quote.
Sending two will not add too much to the shipping amount since the the handle determines the box size and dimensional weight is used due to the box size.

Complete easy-resto vacuums

While not parts units, I will put these in this thread also.
All of these are complete working machines that would need minimal work to restore. There is one Heritage (set up to take the good HEPA bags) ($40), one nice original Omega ($30), One bojack-bagged Omega ($20), One Classic 1CR with washed bag ($30), and a Heritage II with new amodal fan, most attachments and shampooer ($60)

Note - the Omegas and 1CR will be fitted with the correct handles, unlike shown in the pictures. Also I can include an emtor with the bojack Omega for $5 more.

Prefer pickup if you are local but I can ship for additional charge.

Les,
Here are pics of the nice sets in that box - one is a 515, the other is unknown. Both have sweet air ports on the emtors and have metal PB switches. One emtor is missing the bottom but will include it or a a non-sweet air emtor with bottom, your choice.
Each of these is 20, both can ship together.

The center carcass with toggle is not shown - not sure if you want that also.

All work but bearings would need to be changed for daily use or restoration (recommended for any old Kirby).
Let me know if you have further questions...

Nice

I think I'll take them. I'll try to get financial situation by Friday.
I have a green LED light that would just make that vacuum look nice as a 500 series in green.
I take it that the motors are 4 amps. Do they come with sweet aire caps? I don't have many caps. I'll email you tommorow on paying for it.
I'd take the car as but I don't need it. I have more toggle switches than I have 500 series vacuums.

Les,
Both have sweet air caps. The one on the green machine was painted green but its red underneath. Yes, motors are 4A and were tested good.
If you plan to keep the green trim, I can toss in a green bag top if you need it - I think I have one.
Please Email me your zipcode so i can get a shipping quote for you. Did you still need the D50 bag tops? I had 2 put away for you...

Rob

If you use the box shown, you cut in half. Turn the machines sideways, fold the box over mirror image of the bottom. This may help on shipping costs.

kmarcus, sorry, no Omega bags like that except on my now-restored Omega that I have owned for 26+ years. A sweet-looking chromed beauty!
Let me know if you need any other Omegas stuff, as I have several parts units and some restorable vacs

BONUS (non-Kirby) BAG OFFER!

Offering up some packages of new vac bags, free with purchases of any Kirby parts units!
What you see in the picture is all I have. The dirt devil ones on the far right are type d.
Also the cloth bags in this thread and some old brownish Lewyt hose attachments (brush and small nozzles) can be freebies with purchase:

I will include what you want, as many I can include without raising the shipping cost. My family and neighbors have no use for these - they were rescued from the Plano shop and I hate to trash them.

Hoover300, glad you asked...
I was ready to tell you to look a the pictures above, but they were not there!
So here are two boxes that were not included, yielding 2 Classic IIIs, a G6 (that I might keep), and another Omega.

All work and both CIIIs have good metal fans. Both are missing emtors, BUT I bet the Classic oval ones will work and I think I have a couple extra red bottoms - I will look.

One CIII is missing the handle plastic and the belt lifter has a broken ear.

The other CIII (with the G6) would make a very nice restorable unit.

I can include red NOS headlight and nozzle trims with them (if desired) for small extra cost)

The following have sold:

-The nicer Classic III parts unit
-Two Classic 1CR parts units less emtors
-One of the nicer Classic 1CR complete parts units with the faded original bag
-The parts units of 515, green-trimmed 5xx, 514, tan trimmed 5xx, and stripped 5xx (actually I am keeping the latter 3 for parts and eventual restoration.)
-All of the Hoover type A bags and the Oreck bags
-Green bag top and bag ring
-Both D50 bag tops

However I still have lots more parts units, especially Classic 1CRs, Omegas, and later-model Traditions. One Classic III is left, and one 5xx.
Still have all of the nicer restorable complete vacs.

My driveway is now clear of Kirbys, but now time to clear the patio. :o)
Thank you to all who saved these machines and parts - I greatly appreciate it!
I hope to get some more projects into others' hands!!
