It may be a joke, but it's true. It can damage your toe. You're supposed to be careful.

@Vacuum Facts love modern innovations. I understand him about that.
Sigh. V-F can't tell the difference between real innovation and cheap gimmicks. The great majority of vacuums sold today are only incrementally changed from what was being made 50-60 years ago. Some of us would argue that materials, workmanship and even the performance of modern vacuums are a huge step backwards from what was around 50 years ago. What once was a durable and reliable household appliance that could reasonably be expected to last 20 years and was repairable if something broke is now a cheap throw away item that seldom make it to the five year mark, much less twenty.

When I can't even pay to get a Husqvarna from 30 years ago that has a dead motor off of a family member you know that things were made to be repaired. I have wanted about 20 machines from people, all of those machines were not acquired because the owner liked them so much. If someone buys me a v16 I will gladly use it just as I would a g5. I am not that careful with my g5 as I have 3 of them. Ram it into the wall, suck up mountains of dog hair, sticks, shredded paper, etc and the Kirby keeps going. My nana's Dyson threw a fit because it had been used on a seed pod from a tree. You know the ones that look like a brown pea pod. I hate to sound like a broken record about kirby's, I just have the most experience with them as I use my g5 daily when I am at my nana's house. Countless other machines like the g5 are out there.
