It's unbelievable how fast time flies. It's been over 10 years since dan displayed his collection. He buys doubles and keeps one new in box. I believe it's the longest thread on vacuumland. Just like the Keeler bagless conversion thread, they both get pretty heated..

I had my run in with Mr Frisco years ago, and he is notorious just reading through some of his responses is making me feel sick. I really hate people who bash on everyone who can't afford to drop hundreds of thousands of dollars on a collection, and essentially say people who get second hand machines are not deserving of anything. Almost everything I have is secondhand and I couldn't not be more proud of my collection. Most didn't need much more than a belt and bag, but some others have taken some more work.

To each their own, but there comes a point when certain collectors just make me feel like lashing out at them

Well, Dan did purchase the 65 with the white replacement hood that he claimed was his grandmother’s from one of my good friends on eBay. I wouldn’t believe everything he said on here.

I personally never had a problem with dan. I can definitely see were you are coming from. The thread veered off from vacuums to ocean front condos and new Mercedes. I joined vacuumland in 2014. Can't believe 10 years has gone by so fast. It was an interesting thread until things got nasty. I also enjoyed the Keeler thread to.

I enjoyed seeing those threads, I personally didn't cared for some of the other appliances and things that were also shown but you may never find more pictures of NOS vacuums ever again. I also enjoyed seeing the Keeler thread, I wished that thread never got deleted because every once in a while I used to go back and get a good laugh at it. Although the other Keeler thread over on Truck Mount Forums is still up there, I also look back to that one once in a while.

I think he's a doctor isn't he? I guess he disappeared when the money ran out. It happens fast with people that live above their means. He had a nice collection, just his clout bragging and "poor shaming" is what made him not pleasant to be around. Like he is a rapper or something lol.

I had the misfortune of meeting this guy when I first joined here in 2017, he gave me hell, along with other members, for buying "garbage". He had that "toughguy" New Jersey attitude.

I guess I could be famous for paying severely under value for some rare vacuums and building them back up again from their neglect. More rewarding.

As I stated earlier, there is a lot I could say, but why be unnecessarily nasty?

The thread people pay attention to the loudest can.
You don't get along with everyone. You can admire the vacuums. There very nice vacuums and that's all I have to say.
