Kirby replication

Hey everyone
I Know they no longer make Gray trim for early Kirby 505 on up. I was wondering if anyone has or knows if anyone has used a 3D printer or something along those lines to make these parts. I was wondering if you could dye trim I Know you can paint it but that wears off.

The gray trim started with the model 508, which looked more or less like the 505 but only in gray. Red trim pieces first showed up with the model 513, which was the same machine to debut both the step-on foot switch and the new-style brush roll and plate that would last up to the D80 in the original 13" wide form.

The last gray trim pieces were the wheels (late in 515 run, but not officially advertised until the 516) and the Emtor bottom (started with model 509) that continued up to the model 561.

As to paint, there are several varieties that may be stronger than others.

I bought a 510 kirby. Gray is trim color and screen print bags with lettering etc. I read an article explained trim. I was wondering if it could be replicated. I have a handle connected to vacuum. It has an emetor, wheels and and is missing complete headlight assembly. I received assembly for it from kent. The vacuum is rough but it has a few bones I may bring back to life.
