So? haven't seen any posts on how it's going. Any luck on getting the fan loose yet?

No luck whatsoever! I will have to try heating up the shaft with a torch next.

Shooting penetrating oil into the hole in the fan hub & setting it so the oil settles at the end of the motor shaft before heating not only helps loosen the part, but will also disperse mosquitos in the area

It sometimes takes a few days for that penetrating oil to work.  Good luck!!!

If you really want to have some fun, wait till you have to replace the handle spring on the 505 through 515 models.
