Kenny Loveland's mini meet with photos!

this past weekend, Sean Curry and myself drove up to Tulsa, OK to Meet Kenny Loveland, Chad Cunningham, and Phillip Mueller at Kenny's House for a mini convention. we all had a BLAST! first order up for business was going to a gentleman's house on the other side of town to pick through many vintage treasures. this fellow was NOT a collector but went thru houses to pick vacs to resell on ebay. it became too much and the machines in too poor of shape for immediate resale as he didn't know how to repair machines. over 100 vacs were there, and some vintage floor polishers ansd shampooers too. below is the first pic of the visit seeing an overall of the TONS of machines this guy (ken) had. he was polite enough to put them all out in his driveway for us to pick through.

this was the pile of machines that we fit into sean's volvo wagon. yes it did all go in, with room to spare! most of the vacs were phillips, sean had the 2nd most, i took home 3 sanitronics and a trashbag of parts

Phillip by far scored the best, with around 25-30 machines. more of them from the 80's than other eras

my haul. including the 3 kirby's (two ds50's and one SVII), the goodies in the trashbag included a fairfax fax-o-matic powerhead for my friend jacob, two classic omega shag kings, classic omega suds o gun (for my attachments), eletrolux silverado starter kit including pn4a (one i wanted! thanks to kenny) flip tool and crevice tool, and two convertible brushrolls that will be cannibalized into one good spare.

after the big haul, we ate lunch and went flea market and thrifting. sean scored the only good find from this, but it was a good one, a hoover 1020 convertible! after we arrived back at kenny's after lunch for play time. this is the convertible corner of his collection. the restortations on these machines took my breath away. worked as well as they look too!
