A black 12 amp Hoover Sprint?

Of course one of my favorite things is to find vacuums that are uncommon or Ive never seen myself. Could it have just happened? Now I know for certain Hoover sold a bright burgundy 12 amp Sprint at Sears but this image leads me to believe it was also sold in black. You cant see any red through the shadow, like you can on the wording. What says you guys. Is there a black 12 amp Sprint. Or is the burgundy dark on the page???

It could be just me but I think it is burgundy from the looks of it. Or perhaps it is black. That Sprint reminds me of the very last Elite model ever sold (minus the commercial models) that had two different blue colors, one lighter and one darker.

I remember seeing the baby blue Elite in a Target YEARS AND YEARS ago. Wish we could go back to those days.

This was the one I saw at my local Target and that was I believe the very last Elite I've ever seen sold through stores. Coincidentally I saw it at Target just shortly after my trip in Minneapolis where I've used one at a hotel I was staying at. I definitely agree about going back, it'd be awesome reliving the days looking at the vacuum isles.

My sweet kitty was snoozing peacefully on my desk next to my laptop. Then I played the video and the instant that old Hoover was fired up, so was he. Up on all fours with that "what the H is that dad?" look.
