Is this website legitimate?

I have never heard of it.

But it’s worth a shot. I would recommend sending them an email. I have a website with listings for vintage NOS commercial Hoovers. I think I’ll do the same

It may be, it may not be. When the site is legit and they have all their inventory posted - most of the time after I click buy and they already charged my credit card they go "oh we don't have this". THEN WHY IS IT LISTED

I agree with Huskyvacs on this one - items that are no longer available should be removed immediately! Or, if it is left on for reference purposes, the "add to cart" button should be removed and say "this item is discontinued by the manufacturer and no longer available to purchase". By leaving the item on there and letting you purchase the item, and then get the charge reversed to the card, they are wasting your time and money!

Eureka1998, I would suggest either email or call the company and ask directly if the item listed is still available before you purchase. That way you don't get your hopes up.

There was a thread a while back on a similar site to this. From what I remember, it turned out to be an online appliance store for military families, as each machine (Maytag Hoovers) was rated at 240v, as these families apparently travel around the globe a lot. Oh, and they were out of stock there, too. I'm assuming that this is a similar story, but I could be wrong.
