I only had to empty my shark after I vacuumed the entire house but right under the bag canister is this foam rubber filter and it got so filthy after each use that I ended up having to vacuum it with my canister every time I used it. Bags are way better!

I don't get the Keeler "bagless" conversion for the Kirby---Better solution if you just don't want to get disposable bags is to get a "Forever"bag to use in the regular outer bag.Or Kirby can go back to offering customers a choice--the dump bag or disposable bags.Cleaning that Keeler thing would be just too nasty for me.You need another vacuum to properly clean out the Keeler attachment.Would like to see the dust cloud from the Keeler filter when he hits it against something with the green dust reveal filter for my Polarion light.
