Hoover

Somewhere I have a book on advertising that has a clear picture of the 'flower power'display with a Portable on it.
Hoover Service Clinics were also done at small town hardware and furniture stores to allow customers who bought their Hoover there to bring it in for service.This would be promoted by local advertising.The Hoover service man would have a case of belts,bearings,filters,fans etc. that would be sent back to Hoover to be refilled before the next Clinic.
