Look at this fabulous baby, the Hoover Model 1118! Another wonderful adoption from Marc Turbyfill, facilitated by (of course) Rick Benedikt. This girl is absolutely spotless, not a scratch or nick on her, no handle wobble, all the vinyl and plastic gleams showroom new. It looks like it was never used.

Hoover 1118

Unbelievably nice, complete with tools, and attachment bag, plus a supply of toss-out bags

Scott,
I just noticed something on the bottom of your machine. It says The Hoover makes rugs last longer. I have never seen that on a Dail-a-matic. My family has one of the first self propelled Hoover dial-a-matics and I will have to check it out and see if it has that famous Hoover slogan on the bottom plate too. I don't think it does.
Thanks for sharing the pictures.

Wow Scott, that is stunning! I have that model and another without the height adjuster and prefer those to the ones that do, at least on my carpeting. I love the way the motor sounds too. I remember when these came out I thought they were boring because they did not have a blow up bag! The quick attachable tools made these a hit with housewives of the times, and the suction was sooo much better than the convertible with tools. You will really enjoy it!

samantha and endora should be pushing that hoover thats better than hoover models and samples......twitch that
