hoover connie timeline please?

Could someone give me a general timeline of the hoover constellation. I have a nice model 84 which I believe was made in 1956. I know the first models had the hose port on the very top like mine. I also know they reproduced them very recently in a stainless steel model. Any info would be appreciated. thanks Bill

Frankly, I'm surprised there aren't more threads with such information--including a complete list of all Hoover cleaners.
