Hoover Attachments (Side slot)

Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone happens to have old Hoover upright attachments that slide into the side of the model 63/64. As you may know, I recently got a Hoover model 636, and I'm looking for some attachments for it. If someone has them, please let me know as soon as you can.

Here's a related question for Hoover upright experts:

Did the flippable door on these "Convertible" hose ports often jam in the "open" position? I mean, did dirt or a faulty spring often cause the hose port door to be left open, and in this way reduce suction when used in carpet cleaning mode?

I've often wondered about the failure rate of this hose port design.....

I've had it happen a few times on the regular

Convertibles. I didn't realize it until dirt shot out the back while running it on hardwood floors. Easy to solve. Just watch your fingers.

do this...

put a drop of oil on the converter port door that should help and clean any dirt and gunck off.
