Stoke on Trent

I have just been rather surprised to see that my thread has been 'resurrected'. :-O

I have (since RichardC collected the other stuff) found a couple of Dyson attachments lying around. These being a crevice tool, a small elliptical brush with an angled swivel, and an adaptor which I believe fits between the handle/wand and the tools. All items in silver grey. These can be collected by anyone local who wants them.

If I get any more vacuum cleaners passed on to me, I will list them here.

My working season is now fully underway and I am busy, please don't be surprised if you reply/message me (preferably reply, as I don't always 'log in' when I have a look at the site) and don't get a response for several days.

Yes, I still have them, no-one has expressed any desire to collect them. It should be stressed that they are in a similar condition to the machine..... Tatty, used, but not split/broken.

I have checked on postage rates, and since your 'coming clean', I assume money will be in short supply for you, so if you 'private message' a postal address to me, I'll bag them up and post them to you at my expense in the next few days.

Joe..

I have been 'messaged' before, but I wonder whether messaging is available to 'upgraded' members only, in which case it will have ceased after my '40 day free trial' (thanks, Unimatic1140, it was useful and, even though I'm not a 'collector' at all, I may even pay for an upgrade sometime, if I can ever work out a way to get the money through to you) ended, and this machine isn't set up for Email. Let me work on this one.........

Needless to say, I don't want to post my Email address into a 'public' area, I get more than enough 'Spam' as it is.... :-(

Email

Joe...
I'll try to Email you from my old laptop when I can dig it out. You will probably be glad to know that I found another bit of Dyson earlier today... I think it's the 'upholstery' tool.... Small plastic thing, with two strips of red 'velcro'-like stuff underneath... Don't you just LOVE my descriptions of things.... ;)

Thanks, Parwaz786. :-)

I try to combine accuracy with at least a hint of humour.. ;-)

Frequently (being no Vacuum Cleaner expert) I have no idea of the actual 'names' of parts, so just describe them and let you all decide amongst yourselves.

Thanks again

Dave T

P.S. If your mental image of me is of some kind of 'nutty professor' type.... You're not far from the truth!!
