Joe:- LMAO we have loads of scrap people taking things, we always see these trampy men with push chairs looking into people's porches, and they even open the people's household waste bin bags! EWW
I took a trip down yesterday to collect the vacuums in awful driving conditions lol! Set off at 12 and got back home for about 1745 using half a tank of fuel lol! However all collected and appear to be in working order. Have given the DC07 and the boss a good clean up and am deciding which one to keep and give to my mum. I require a few parts for the DC07 such as a new dirt bin as the current one the bottom just drops out when it is removed as the clip that holds the bottom there is broken. Find the tools on a DC07 very difficult to use the hose is horrendous if you only need a small attachment and don't need to reach the ceiling lol.
Many thanks Dave
The DC01 which I collected for Joe (ultimatevacman) may be available for someone else to have as he doesn't appear to want it now - anyone would like can collect from me.
It doesn't have a power cord on it.
Regards
Richard.[this post was last edited: 5/10/2013-11:36]
It's a pity that we were unable to meet.... When you finally found my place, I was about six miles away, trying to unload a machine which SHOULD have been available for collection on the Wednesday, which would have left me free on the Thursday. Unfortunately the supplier 'hadn't got any warehouse staff available to load it' on Wednesday, so tying up two days of my time....
When you said 'half a tank of fuel', was that the local traffic at this end??? It is a nightmare without 'local knowledge'...
