Title: ELECTROLUX FLOOR POLISHER - $25 (CALDWELL)

Description: ELECTROLUX FLOOR POLISHER WITH SCRUBBING BRUSHES AND BUFFING PADS.

ASKING $25.00 CASH ONLY!!!!

Background: This is one of the models (B-6?) that was imported to the USA from Sweden. Beginning around 1957 Electrolux Corporation (USA) began manufacturing its own triple-brush cleaners, or Beautifiers, with the gray B-7 which was in the same sales line-up as the Model F and Model S tank cleaners.

I hope you get it. Looks likes it's been gently used. I don't believe this one is equipped to function as a shampooer, although the black brushes remind me of the black nylon brushes of the domestic Model B-8. You may want to inquire.

If it does operate as a shampooer it would use dry foam shampoo--not extraction solution. I purchased two Beautifiers that came with "shampoo" that was actually an extraction solution. The dry foam method is designed to encapsulate dirt and crystallize which is vacuumed after the carpet dries. Extraction solution, as the name implies, is meant to be extracted from the carpet--not allowed to dry into it.

Anyway $25 is a great price for the vintage machine!

If you're looking to pair the triple-brush cleaner with an Electrolux (USA) vacuum cleaner that was sold during the same era you'd be looking for models LX, LXI, E, and AE. Unfortunately, specific information about the years of production for the triple-brush cleaner imports are only speculative.
