Mine is a model 500 just checked.
Thanks, mine is in pretty good condition considering its age but its no collectors gem.
Mine was also more expensive but yours was a bargain. Even just the crevice tool is worth $3.20 & the rest if it works well is just a bonus as you can use it as a carvac in the garage.
It's the only one of my filter queens as it was the last that I didn't open up to the motor & clean it a bit.
I got tired of the mess & I have so many each one having some problem & hoping to put together a few good ones from the clan.
Still I changed some on off switches ^ hi lo switched just to make sure eveyone would function at least on high.
Can't even get parts for the 80's model 31 anymore
Guess you can say, I got over the vac bug so I will be selling off some so that I can again look in a corner & not see one
LOL
Go back & get as many parts as you can.
Access are wonderful & you can always trade them for something you need.
Yours really needs a new paint job
mine has a dent on top but the paint is pretty good with no rust, the rubber gaket is breaking though as are the rubber ends & I'm missing the crevice tool& the rubber hairs off the upolstery & dust brush.
Got the sprayer which I can't get the top off, mother (I think its that) & felt thing & a newer bojack hose.
Your looks like it was stored outside near the ocean it has alot of rust. Still it was $3.20
Look inside the cap see if it has filter queen on the motor.
Mine may be missing a screen on top or else they didn't make them with a screen then. I can look at the top of the motor when I take the exhaust cap off.
I might have to open up my parts FQ & steal its screen & the metal under the cover...I don't have anything under the exhaust cover. Does yours?
I guess from my parts I can repair it.
I would be interested to know whats under your exhaust cap.
