Greetings All,
I have a Filter Queen Model 33 on which the cord plug (the part that plugs into the wall outlet) is starting to fray. I have called a couple of vacuum repair shops and gotten two prices for replacement. One is for $35.00 which includes the new plug and he will "heat solder" it on, and the other is for $10.00 which will be "twist" on. My question to you all is this: Is one method better for long term use then the other? Or does it matter? I have attached pictures of the plug in question and any advice about this is greatly appriciated. Thank You.
