I see information on the model 200A but haven't seen anything on the model 200, serial number 2287. I would have to assume the model 200 is older than the 200A. Would anyone know what value this holds? I plugged it in and it works. Not sure if the attachments are all there as I only have what's seen in the pictures.

I can give you some information about the machine. There was only one model 200. Since it came out in 1939, some were made before World War II. Yours is a Canadian machine. In the United States, the model 200 was built by the Royal appliance company. In Canada, it was built by the Canadian version of Royal. All the same company. Your machine has a royal hose. Not a filter Queen hose. Your attachments are from an Electrolux and the wands from a Eureka. The model 200 was $89 in the United States when it was brand-new. It kept that retail price it's entire run.

And it was a good machine

But, whoever designed it must have had interest in a screw factory, if you ever take it apart you will understand, it must have 500 screws in it..LOL!

Thank you Dysonman1 for the info. It's good to know that the accessories I have are not Filter Queen and more than likely lowers any value of this machine. Do you think it's worth anything on it's own at all?

It is definitely worth sometime. The Model 200 was around from 1939 till 1950. They sold a ton of them, mostly after World War II, when vacuum salesmen couldn't keep their machines in stock. There was such a pent-up demand.

eBay would be your best bet.

Here is a picture of the model 200 in the Vacuum Cleaner Museum with it's original attachments and box, as it came from the factory in 1930 (mine is a pre-war model).
