Favorite Pre-G Series Kirby?

I think the DS80 would be 100% better looking if it were done in the "Sorocco", or tan color of the models before it. Maybe not the exact tan of the previous models, but a dark sparkling shiny coppertone.

Would be beautiful with the tan or gold bag.

There's Just something about that Army green that is ugly to me,,like pea soup, or pea soup vomit,,or guacamole that someone ate and lost! EESH!

AAhhh well, just goes to show, beauty is in the eye of the beyholder!

You have to remember the time period the D-80 was born into. The Avocado appliances, the green shag. The D-80 was perfect for it's time, and is still one of my favorites. Not just the color, but it was one honey of a machine.

True True,,green was the color of the day. One of my relatives built a new home in 1970, and had all green appliances, even the washer and dryer.
She had LONG green shag carpet installed, that had to be raked with a special plastic rake.
You raked, vacuumed and then raked again.
Was beautiful once it was done, but the minute someone walked across it,that ruined it!
I remember She bought a new Hoover DAM, and made sure it was green also.

Haha, jeeesh,,people had more time on their hands back then evidently!
