Evan, I paid for that Simplicity vac over a week ago. When am I going to see some tracking information that tells me you shipped it?

So now we go to the PayPal dispute resolution center and file a dispute (done) and if I don't hear anything call my credit card company and have them stop payment. Not so hard.

I would like to give him the benefit of the doubt but if he has bamboozled others before me then you follow the steps and recover your money.

You've been Ripple-Smackled!

Give me the 'GO' and I'll have the K.B.I special-unit squad patrol the area. he can't run when those Rose-wood Brown squad-cars are on his trail!

What kind of simplicity vac did you buy? I might have some stuff laying around. I know I've got a few symmetrys, synchronys and a synergy or two.. I've got a few 6 and 7 series too, and can get parts for them.

Total Flake!

For Christmas last year, my fiance bought an all original Kirby D50 and several parts for my D80 for me from Evan well in advance before Christmas. It did not arrive in until January 16th!! My hubby was not happy and nearly asked for reimbursment before it arrived. I no longer want to have contact with him after reading this feed and seeing his true colors. I sent him several pieces and a couple of them rare such as a Heritage shake out bag and a Heritage II shake out bag. He promised to send me multiple machines and parts in February and I have yet to receive them and now I never will. He has become a total flake and I am very disappointed in him. I really wish him the best and I hope that he learns to treat people better (especially his friends) if he wants to be successful in the future. God speed Evan. Oh wait! I forgot you don't beleive in God. Sorry! Good luck and goodbye.

Evan...

This "Kirbykid" is what gives the younger memebers a bad reputation. Not all younger members are like this. I hope everything is resolved for DesertTortoise and Adambomb. Kirbykid's membership should be revoked and nobody (hopefully) ever do business with him again. Just my little rant, can't stand liars and fakes.

Thanks for the kind words and testimonials everyone. I thought from the number of vacs, talk of rebuilding and selling them and how they were presented in some cases Kirbykid had a vacuum shop or something. Silly me.

I sent an e-mail giving him until 3.00 pn PST to contact me with a tracking number of I simply call VISA and have them cancel the transaction. I don't need the vacuum that badly.

Jkbff, it was an S24 canister with the hose and powered brush. He was asking $100 which made me think it might be an, um, interesting restoration challenge (aka beat to crap), but at least parts availability wasn't a problem like it is with much older vacs. Even correct color body parts are readily available. Sure wish that was so with even some of the newer Kenmores I refurbish. Can't even get hoses for some of those!

I just wanted to see the insides of a Riccar/Simplicity canister, take one apart, feel the material in my hands, feel how things screw, snap or otherwise fasten together, see who made the motor and other components to satisfy myself that they are or are not worth the high price of admission. There will be others in good time.

You know something?

I waited, and waited, and waited for this to finally happen! He is a snake, and everyone finally knows that. I have had my share of battles with Mr. Baier, and every time, he would argue and argue with me until he was sure that what he said was perfectly justified, and I was just an ignorant collector who didn't take care of his vacuums. BS. He said on more than one occasion that he had no respect for anyone who did not have a high-paying job, and would not treat me respectfully until I was making $1000 a month, or something ridiculously stupid like that. He is a self-righteous little brat, and he will never learn.

And, just so you're all aware,

I hope none of you ever have the great fortune of running into him in person, especially not for a good long while, as he is currently suffering from *shudders* Scabies. Yup, he has dozens of little mites living under his skin, and it's a highly contagious disease. Yuck.

I've got a riccar 1500 machine around here that I've traded in that is in decent shape. I'd let it go with a power head and 3 extra bags for 150 but you'd have to pay shipping.

Before they discontinued that model we sold that new for 699, rebuild for 399-499, but I've pulled them off the shelf because I don't sell rebuilt vacuums anymore.

Let me know if you want it. My email should be in my profile and could probably have it ship tomorrow morning.

Scabies are very treatable. Lots of cases in the military, and you jump on that stuff right effing now before the whole ship is scratching like a dog with fleas. We called them crotch lobsters.

It's no excuse for not shipping merchandise. Hour and a half and I call VISA to pull the payment.

He a dang rat

He mad me feel bad about having high end vacs and that he was poor and and me being 15 as well he tried the get a rainbow e2 out of me when i said hell no he began to bully me Glad every one sees hi real colors

The only thing Evan cares about is money money money money!!! And if you don't have enough money then he basically has no use for you and I feel that is why he treated me the way that he did. I have blocked him and removed him from every Fcebook group that I could. I even blocked his number!

I initiated a stop payment on the credit card and initiated a dispute with PayPal. You can't go to the cops until these don't pan out. Right now he still has some weasel room. I haven't had a lot of these but if the seller is a flake you don't usually lose your money when a credit card and a major bank are involved. Their reputation and PayPal's is on the line too.

I don't really care about his age or personal situation. You offer goods for sale publicly and maintain a PayPal account to take other people's money, you have an obligation to act professionally. That is what I am doing too. Nothing personal. I trusted him as we all trust a hundred on line sellers and this time it turned out bad. I have worse disputes in my own business and some have cost me five figures going to court to protect my rights against another business. Fortunately there are legal means to recover your money if a seller doesn't follow through on a deal. That will, or ought to be, his lesson from this experience. Some customers don't beg.

Oh and I have to tell you when your bumpkin high desert lawyer makes the big city downtown LA Wilshire Boulevard lawyer from the big name law firm look like a fool to the point the judge cuts the other sides attorney off mid sentence, telling her that the more she speaks the more the judge feels my side was right, oh man the money you just spent seems like nothing. Watching the other side ooze out of the court room heads down in silence is almost priceless.
