Hi all- I have not been on here in quite a while.
I see a lot of new names and some familiar ones too...I hope everyone is doing well.
Love the changes to the website, looks great!
Now for my questions.....My Aunt has a self-propelled Eureka model# - 5047 E with a VGII.
One of the rear wheels has broken. Can you replace the wheel? On the Hesco web site, it looks as though you have to replace the whole rear axle with wheels and drive gear ( all one unit )But of course it is no longer available and I haven't had any luck on the internet.....anyone know how this could be repaired? My Aunt is in her 80s and really likes this vacuum...especially because of the self-propelled feature. I enjoy using it too, when I help her out around her house. Any help with this would be very much appreciated.
One more question...It has been so long since I worked on a Eureka ( F&G Style)...to loosen the belt pulley, do you turn it counter clock wise or clock wise....I can't remember....I know sometimes they are difficult to loosen, but I want to make sure I am going in the right direction.
Thanks,
Michael
