I just got this beauty today for only $20. Runs well and is all original. One of my favorite color schemes done by Electrolux. I also included a pic of the gorgeous rotary phone my honey bought for my Birthday. We love to collect anything vintage however he is more into dishes and I’m into vacs and appliances.

Great find....everything seems to be correct. Nobody seems to be 100% correct on the bumper color lettering scheme over the yrs....so I just don't go there. If the hose has no air leaks, a real plus!

My favorite colored vac other than the teal G's.....

Gorgeous vacuum! And a lovely Western Electric 500-M telephone! I collect vacuums, furniture, and Telephones. Grandpa worked for Illinois Bell for 40+ years, so it's in my blood! Thanks to him, I can fix close to anything.

I've always had bad luck with 1205's. One was taken from me (gotta love the classic Ex boyfriend stole something of yours story...), and 2 of them did not work. Congrats!

Nice 1205!

I've got the same 1205 but mine has the rare pistol grip hose and Canadian-made telescoping wand, which I really like. An OEM vinyl hose will likely be a good investment that will pay off in the form of improved performance.

Yeah....there's nothing like scoring an original setup just like it was sold from the Electrolux salesperson.....even if the hose leaks.

Those have always been my best-prised finds...original setups. Just something about the provenance of those finds. Just not the same when they've passed through numerous, anonymous hands. I'm always a sucker for a good story about a vac that's been well taken care of still in the original family that bought it.
