Were there any Sanitaire canisters in the 1970s, '80s and early '90s (besides this one that assumes the old 1700 series body with Express Vibra-Groomer III power nozzle) that assumed the same designs as Eureka's past canisters?

What I mean is were there any old Sanitaire canisters (I'm guessing they first appeared in the 1980s) based on prior Eureka designs such as?
*Roto-Matic 800 series cylinder canisters (1950s-'60s) (uses "J" bags)
*Princess 600/700 series (1960s-'80s) (uses "H" bags)
*900/1000 series (1950s-'70s) (uses "L" bags)
*Mighty Mite 3000/3100/3200 series (1982-'90s) (uses "C" bags)

Sanitaire had a canister that resembled the original rotomatic from around 1955 body style. I think it was white in color.

I think it was on ebay a while ago.

Hey there Benjamin! According to the Sanitaire website:

"The History of Sanitaire Commercial

Sanitaire Heavy Duty vacuum cleaners were first offered to consumers in the 1950s. Then, in 1972, Eureka launched the Red Sanitaire products for commercial users after repeated requests from dealers. The commercial cleaning industry was still relatively small at the time as most hotels, businesses, schools and healthcare facilities were independently managed with on-site cleaning crews."

I have never seen a Sanitaire made previous to 1972, but who knows - maybe they are out there!

<span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: small;">I have one from approximately 1986. I need to work on resizing the scans to reduce the size. Then I will post them. Give me a day or two...John</span>

<span style="font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: small;">P.S.: This brochure shows no canisters in the lineup...</span>

<span style="font-family: tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;">I wish I could tell you, Ben. I know nothing about the Sanitaire commercial canister series....sorry - J</span>
