You bet, Nick! I like the idea of your adding to the data I collected and look forward to seeing it.

Check my model data thread

Paul,

Check out my model data thread. I'm hoping we can all add 1400 series serial numbers and date codes in the same format

Hi Nick,

I did check out your model data thread but forgot to reply to your message. You have a great start, so I hope you continue to work on its completion.

Platinum Blue!

The name of the darker blue color Eureka Williams used on many of its 700 & 1000 Series canisters in the '60s to early '70s. The source is ELECTRICAL MERCHANDISING WEEK—October 23, 1961, Volume 93, Issue 43:

Empress (& Emperor "Superpower" Lightweight?) Colors

Green & Chateau Gray (gray-green; traditional color found in French woodwork)

It appears that the Emperor upright and "Superpower" Lightweight Model-Type 102-A color match except for the perceived yellowing of the Emperor's plastic (see Dysonman1's attached photo).

If anyone has access to a METAL PRODUCTS MANUFACTURING volume 22 or HOUSE & GARDEN July 1965 issue or online scan, that may include a more specific green color name. It's hard to tell whether or not the attached search list snippet excluded it.
