We had that model over here years ago, as an Electrolux. Ours didn't have a PN, though...

We sold them back when I worked for Sears. While the translucent body is pretty, they weren't that great. They seemed to clog fast and the bagless chamber didn't go together well or easily. Every one we sold was returned and we practically had to give the floor model away when they were discontinued.

I found one of those in the Mustard Seed in Fort Pierce, I can't bring myself to buy it. It's dark clear red.

It was called the Eureka Whirlwind Bagless Canister...

It was yet another marriage between a European-made Electrolux canister and a US-made Eureka Power Nozzle with electrified hose. The power nozzle is one of the best made - the Eureka Express Power Nozzle. Thanks to our friend in Orlando for giving us the scoop on it's performance and reliability.

I also like the power nozzle, though the brush roll lacked beater bars. I like the belt view window on that power nozzle and on the few Eureka uprights it was also on.

These were especially hard to sell next to Kenmores that had height adjustment and power switches in the handle grip... I think this one at least had the quick release power nozzle, but I can't remember!

VF...R U sure this pn had no beater bars?

I could swear all Eureka Express power nozzles had one of the Vibra Groomer brush rolls in them - either Version I or II or III. Version III had no beater bars, just brush stiffeners like the Hoover Quadraflex - providing increased "spring-back" action on carpet fibres. So maybe the Whirlwind canister had the Vibra-Groomer III then.
