Yes, I've just checked my Legacy, and it too, has the crackled finish on the front end.


 


I had the same questions about all these models as well, a few months back.  I have an owners manual for the Legacy showing a picture of the pn as shown in reply 12.  When I got my Legacy a few month back, was able to distinguish it from the Grand Marquis.  But it was a mystery for many years.  


 


What happened to the hose port on your Legacy? In the close-up it looks like its smashed in, but in the bigger picture, it looks fine.

You've got a good eye, Doug. Thanks for pointing that out. Charles Lester has most, if not all, the details down on the pre-Sara Lee model versions, so you've helped to do the same for the post-ones.

I'm glad that since the Renaissance era Aerus identifies changes of a particular model with a new model ID.
