Concept II

There is a concept II at Goodwill for 21.94. Its the bergundy model its not electronic but it does have power surge. It looks like the handle switches are broken.. otherwise looks to be in good condition should I get it?

I would get it, you can get a new handle to fix it, they have them on ebay, I just got one to fix my Concept One

Hmm they also had an old school Eureka upright (1 speed blender motor) in good shape too.. And a Hoover steam vac that looked unused.. THEN I found a Dirt Devil Can Vac at a thrift store with a crushed hose..

I got the concept II.. I took the steel agitator out of my concept one, put it in the concept II.. changed drive and agitator belts... replaced the bag.. gave it a wipe down and it cleans much better than the concept I. I will probably get rid of the concept I now.

**update** I fixed the handle.. the pieces to fix it were in a zip lock bag.. I guess someone took the machine apart and couldn't figure out how to get it back together. I love this one much better than the concept I. It has a 7.2 amp motor. The on/off/power surge switch is next to the power drive on off switch. It's alot quieter than the concept I!
