I have seen a good deal of those, but never with the PN. Thank you for sharing this. I have noted a socket for a PN but never did see the whole set up and I am intrigued by the hose. It must have the power cord running inside it. Had I not seen this, I would have and indeed did think that the cord for the PN would have clipped externally along the length of the hose. Despite having a PN, it is clear from the wear on the end of the metal part of the hose that someone has been using the cleaner without an attachment by rubbing the hose over the surface. Genuine hoses did usually survive such treatment, showing only minimal signs of wear, like this one. None genuine hoses used to wear away very quickly. I wouldn't have expected to see a hose being used in this way when a PN was present as disconnecting the lead to the PN to use the hose or an attachment must have been fiddly, more so with those cleaners where the cord ran the length of the hose.
