Electrolux Uz 930 with pn UZ 934 is one of the best commercial canister cleanrs I've ever had and used in my life!!!! So powerful, so quiet, so durable...here's a photo!

I have seen a good deal of those, but never with the PN. Thank you for sharing this. I have noted a socket for a PN but never did see the whole set up and I am intrigued by the hose. It must have the power cord running inside it. Had I not seen this, I would have and indeed did think that the cord for the PN would have clipped externally along the length of the hose. Despite having a PN, it is clear from the wear on the end of the metal part of the hose that someone has been using the cleaner without an attachment by rubbing the hose over the surface. Genuine hoses did usually survive such treatment, showing only minimal signs of wear, like this one. None genuine hoses used to wear away very quickly. I wouldn't have expected to see a hose being used in this way when a PN was present as disconnecting the lead to the PN to use the hose or an attachment must have been fiddly, more so with those cleaners where the cord ran the length of the hose.

I must say I did not mind the cleaner at all and thought the footswitch to be rather convenient, but they were so very heavy to carry and to pull around. I cannot imagine they were liked by people who had to use them all the time.

ahhaha ! havy for sure! but very well made! I'll post better and more detailed pictures soon, but the electrified hose is great and has a powe switch on top, it's the style of German/ swedish electrolux of that time. However the vacuum has incredible suction and a wonderful hepa type bag, plus a a huge hospital grade filter and a hepa filter system is availble( now at nilfisk Advance)I'll s one of the most abused Electrolux designs ever!!!!!Copied by Anybody!!!! Surely not goood for households, I remember seeing some of them un my house in the eighties...but that was not household....Tommy

Morphy Richards did a copy of it about 5 years ago and they sold for some utterly stupid price like £40. They were fabulous value for money, and though not as robust as the Electrolux original, they were equally as bulky. Incidentlally, the hose on this cleaner is also the same as the ones used on UK models too for a good deal of years.

The Morphy Richards, I don't think they were available in the UK for all that long for some reason. I should point out that in my message where I said the hose end was the same as the UK Electrolux cleaners, what I meant was the hose on your Electrolux with PN was the same, not the Morphy Richards hose.

While we're on the subject of tubs with Sebo powerheads…

anyone remember these? I desperately want one, c1985 Jeyes Hygiene Ensign SDV with the optional 'power wand'

Sebo made those models for tennant EU, Its just a x2 in nice colours, Tennant is a huge name in floor care, there main business however are the big autoscrubbers you see in shops schools huge office blocks, They also make really big cleaning machine like road sweepers and washers.
