Just posting in case anyone has a bag around in new or decent used condition. The vacuum is still good, especially since I went through it, but no bags available now from Nilfish-Clarke-Alto. Anyone know if these were Italian-made machines?

Doyle, can I make a suggestion here? It might be hard to find a used bag since this is a commercial grade machine. What you could do, though, since the filter bag support cage looks like it's a separate part, I would get a inverted cloth central vac bag - the kind that Beam uses as a motor protection filter. Use that to make a new bag for your Clarke. It should be easy enough to remove the old bag material and glue the new bag onto the rim of the filter bag support cage.

Thanks Kirbylux77! It's been a while since I was on here, but the vac is still going strong and has very good suction. I need to do something about the main seal, so might fill the gap with Sikaflex or something similar like I did when restoring my Doyle Vac-It years ago. Unfortunately the basket rim seems to incorporate the main seal and that part was missing. I do have a spare bag out of a Beam built-in though.
